I recently bought this Shiatsu neck and shoulder massager, and it’s been very effective in relieving muscle tension after long workdays. The deep tissue kneading, combined with the soothing heat, provides excellent relaxation and pain relief.

I bought this a few years ago and used it frequently. One day it stopped working so I bought an exact replacement. Only issue is that the one received is notable smaller than my old one and doesn’t hit the same spots. Returned.

I tried the product minutes after it was delivered. Being a widow has been difficult and I used to get great massages. I’m tired of paying for an hour of professional massage. This thing packs a punch, hits all the right spots and is so cozy to boot! It seems sturdy and has good safety features.

This is a fairly typical neck massage device. All together, fairly decently portable and light with a nice false leather cover.It has two sets of rotating heads which I find to be one of the differentiating factor between some products. This specific product has two sets of heads on both sides that go from small to large (making a total of I think 8 round heads on each side). This is kind of different than the one advertised in the description photos where they almost make it seem like there are only 4 on each set. Honestly, I like the 16 rotating heads as they provide a more thorough massage and it actually makes a difference when I reverse the spin.The arm holes help me keep it on my neck but can also be a bit restrictive if I want to use my hands. It’s nice because you can use it to help push it harder into the neck. Can also be used on back but it does require a bit of creative angles.

My boyfriend found this for me and wanted me to get it because I have a messed up neck and a messed up back and thought it would work for massaging when I have really bad neck pains and lower back pain I put it on my neck when I first pulled it out of the box and it hurt me cuz I’m so tender back there so if you’re very tender on your back middle back it’s not going to be comfortable it says it heats up but it does not get very warm it’s basically like a massager that when you go get your nails done and you sit in the chair to get your toes done it’s really hard so I was not too happy with it

This review is for the AERLANG shiatsu neck massager. This massager is no joke. I read a lot of reviews for a lot of different company’s neck massagers here on Amazon before I finally purchased this one. I chose this one primarily because of the arm straps and I can’t tell you how hugely important they are. One can tug the massager around by the straps so it massages many parts of the neck and back, oh my gosh, legs, too. It’s yummy.
Now, my unit does get hot- but not too hot- and it can provide a very rigorous massage and, yes, I do recommend you take it easy the first few times because it can leave you sore if you’re not careful. I won’t lie.
There are two rotating heads each with three rounded nubs on them and they counter rotate and spin and then they also change the direction that they do that in every minute or so. The rotating heads have a path of travel that, at one point, puts them about 3 inches away from each other I’d say which can put quite the powerful squeeze on ones neck or foot or any part that gets wedged in between them at that point, but it’s easy to avoid this. I just wanted to let you know that it can happen. I sit up in bed with mine wedged behind my lumbar and then I lay flat with it just behind the back of my neck, using some additional pillows to perch myself comfortably and I just feel the tension melt out of my muscles.
I waited a while after purchasing and operating it (for months now) with no problems.
In response to people who claim that their’s stopped working or were too hot or they made grinding noises; yes, I was worried that any of those things would start to happen to mine, but so far, the one I received seems of good quality and its operating perfectly.
As one of the lowest priced shiatsu neck massagers available on Amazon when I purchased, I feel like it could possibly be one of the best ones because of those arm straps and the overall quality. Happy hunting!

Like how it really feels like a good professional massage that is kneading into the sore, tight spots on my shoulders and back. I can control pressure and location easily and without my arms getting tired of holding the massager. The actual massagers are smooth, hard, round, rotating, ball things…like the ones you can buy on a fixed hand piece to try use on your shoulders. I’ve considered putting a bit more padding between me and these hard balls…maybe wear a down filled vest! It can be a little clumsy to maneuver the massager into positions but probably gets easier when you get used to it. The first time I used it I got carried away and really dug into sore spots. The next day I really hurt…wondered if I should return the thing…then quickly remembered the soreness after a good massage at a spa. The second day after…I felt really good! Muscles were loosened and sore spots improved. I used it again but a bit less aggressively…I really like it. It definitely helps!!! The heat element is a must for me. With two thin tops on, I can feel it. The down vest plan will not be good if I want to feel the heat. Overall it’s a good buy in my opinion.

This unit is powerful & can be painful to use when you have knots that need worked out but I found using it every other day works best & I noticed a huge change in my pain level caused by neck & shoulder tension & knots in just over a week. The massager really gets into the problem areas but to hydrate just like you would if you had a professional massage.

My mom wanted it. I was skeptical. It arrived and i used it first day. Yes, it a great massager. Besides your neck, you can use on your hip, leg pretty much other body parts. I woupld recommend it.

The manufacturer reached out to me and explained a new cover can’t be sent. They sent me a new one at no charge very quickly. Excellent customer service and this one came with a wrap to add another layer of protection over the massage heads. I am sad to see the waste from the old product, which will have to be discarded for safety reasons, but I’m pleased to have my massager back!
I have used this product regularly to reduce muscle tension. However, my regular use seems to have worn a hole in the cover. Without the cover, the massager is painful and can wrap up hair and shirt straps. I have contacted the manufacturer twice for a replacement cover and haven’t heard back. If they get back to me, I will update

This is a great massager, I use it primarily for my neck and it really provides a deep massage. Please don’t have any hesitations buying this product, not only is it a great massager, but one the seller stands behind. Our original unit stopped working almost a year after purchase, but when I contacted the seller, they were super helpful and replaced my unit with no hassles! I would not hesitate to buy any of their other products.

Finally. A massager that has the balls tighter together and actually massages the neck. Great quality. I keep it on the regular automatic setting and it lasts 2:43 hours between charges.

This was a great purchase for me as I have neck and back strain from working an office job. Only thing I wish is that you didn’t have to plug it in to use it but other than that I’ve had it for a month and use it often

It has two adapters so it can be used at home or in the car. However it also only works when plugged in while there are also battery powered devices of this type out in the market as well. I would say this is a fairly large one which covers a fairly decent amount of surface area which also makes it easy to use for neck but also upper and lower back and I sometimes use it on hands/feet. Color is nice and it is fairly easy to clean. Heating aspect works quite well as expected, takes a bit to warm up and it gives off a red light while its on. While it may be device specific, my specific device slows down significantly when it changes direction rather than being a smooth transition.

I love this neck massager – it has the combination of heat and kneading which you can turn on or off individually and adjust the intensity of each. This one needs to be plugged in an outlet. I have battery powered ones and while I prefer those most of the time, it is slightly more powerful and I don’t have to worry about recharging or the batteries going bad. There is a car adaptor included so you can definitely use it in the car though personally I use my battery powered one when I am traveling. Overall, for $30 this is very reasonable neck massager that feels great and does help with neck pain.

This shiatsu massager really gets into my muscles and feels like a wrestler is giving me a neck massage. I like that I can pull down on the ends so that they massager can really knead my muscles or lift it a little if I don’t want it that hard. It comes with both an AC adapter and a car adapter so you can get a massage almost everywhere, as long as you have power. That being said, I wish the cord was a little longer so I can sit in bed and watch TV while I am getting a massage.

This massager works really well for someone with recurring neck and back pain, whether due to their job or due to their home life or hobbies or sports or some combination of all of the above.
It is quite strong and the way it moves with its rotating balls as it massages can be pretty intense. You can adjust the settings, of course, including the speed, the light, the direction of the rotating balls, and the heat but the massage was a bit too strong for me to handle due to some issues with my upper back so I asked my son-in-law to beta test it for me. He reports that it works amazingly for him and his recurring neck and back pain are dispelled when he uses this.
He tells me that the heat is a huge bonus and really helps get the kinks out of his neck and his back quickly. It helps him to get rid of the pains of the day when he gets home from work and then he can enjoy his evenings, especially his hobbies as he is an extremely avid bicyclist and engages in several other sports as well.

This neck massager is amazing! It really delivers a good massage, and the wrist bands are a great feature compared to something you wrap around your neck. Not only does it allow you to increase or decrease the pressure and intensity of the shiatsu balls, but it also lets you use it on other areas of the body, such as the back, less, and even your feet!
If you suffer from chronic neck pain or just like a good neck massage, I highly recommend this neck massager
